Our popular tractor boot pattern, sized for kids, is another of our Barnyard Boot patterns.  The boots are knit first, then felted.

Yarn: 100% wool, worsted weight for the exterior; 100% worsted weight alpaca for the interior lining.
For one set of boots in the largest size, the exteriors require 300 yards of the main exterior color;  the interiors require 300 yards of the alpaca; and 130 yards for the wheel color, 65 yards for the hubcap color.

Additional Materials: Four 3"  swatches of a thin suede material to be sewn on the sole to create non-slip bottoms; 8 snaps for closure.

Needles: For sizes 1-3, one set of size 10 double-pointed needles, for sizes 4-6, size 10, 16" circular needle, split ring stitch markers, a stitch holder, a yarn needle and a medium-size crochet hook, sewing needle and thread.

Finished size: Patterned for three 6 sizes, for babies and kids 0 to 8 years old. The exact finished size is determined by how much
you felt the boots, so sizing can be precise.
