If you are a new knitter and have an interest in sewing, this is a great project for you. The knitting is easy and felting will hide any mistakes.  If you want to try your hand at felting, here's a quick and easy one to start with. The sewing instructions are included and no experience is required-- it's simple and we'll talk you through it. 

Yarn: 100% worsted weight yarn: 100% wool, worsted weight, 75 yards in each of the three colors.

Additional Materials: 3/4 yard of a 100% cotton fabric of your choice. For the project shown, we used Spring, a print in Melissa Averinos' Sugar Snap collection, distributed by FreeSpirit.  9" zipper in coordinating color.

Needles and Notions: Size 10, 16" circular needles and a set of size 10 double pointed needles, yarn needle, 3 split ring stitch markers, sewing needle and matching thread

Finished Size: Approximately 6.25" in diameter.
