Knit your own piece of usable art. Ripple Purse's chunky, organic layers create an unconventional felted texture. The knitting is interesting and unconventional, too. The layers are made using short row shaping and the tuck technique.  All techniques are explained with clear instructions and photos. 

Yarn: 100% wool, worsted weight 250 yards blue, 120 yards each of brown, gold-green and green.

Additional Materials: One set of purse handles, approximately 6.75" long and 4.75" tall, fusible interfacing, 1/4" flat elastic and 1/2 yard of fabric to cover handles. 

Needles: One size 10 circular needle, a second circular needle (size 7 or smaller for picking up the tuck stitches, one pair of size 10 double-pointed needles to work i-cords around the ring handles; a yarn needle and a sewing needle.

Extras: A 9” dress zipper, matching htread, two 5”, 9-gauge brass handles (available where macramé supplies are sold).

Finished Size: Approximately 10.5” long x 9” high
