Yarn: 100% wool, worsted, the sunflower requires 100 yards in green, 75 yards in yellow and 25 yards in brown; the daisy requires 80 yards in green, 60 yards for the petal color and 10 yards in yellow.
Needles: Size 10, 16” circular needles (sunflower only), size 10 double point needles, stitch markers, a yarn needle.
Additional Materials: A handful of polyfil, 18 gauge, 18” florist wires and about 4 feet of ¼” synthetic ribbon to thread through the leaf and flower stems prior to felting. This ensures the stems won’t fuse to themselves as they shrink.
