A great project for easy colorwork. It is knit first, then felted. Felt it less for a looser brim, more for a tighter, caplike fit.

Yarn: 100% wool, worsted weight: for the largest size, estimate 60 yards for each color plus an additional 90 yards for the band brim.

Needles: Size 10, 16” circular needles, a yarn needle
