A great project for easy colorwork and a great hat to keep the sun out of the eyes. It is knit first, then felted. Felt it less for a looser brim, more for a tighter, caplike fit.

Yarn: 100% wool, worsted weight: for the largest size, estimate 100 yards for each color plus an additional 90 yards for the band brim.

Needles: Size 10, 16” circular needles, a yarn needle.

Level: Advanced Beginner

Finished Size: Patterned for four sizes, Adults through babies with heads measuring: 16-23."
