The scarf uses only the KNIT STITCH and also teaches the new knitter how to change colors at the beginning of a row.

The mitts teach stockinette stitch (knit a row, purl a row), the most common stitch pattern in knitting.

Yarn: 100% baby alpaca, worsted weight

Needles: Size 8 (mitts) and size 9 (scarf) straight needles
